If it were up to you to make the decision, would you let the sweatshop workers become legal U.S. citizens? Why or why not?

yes because its not right that they work thier butts off and they dont even get paid minimum wage.

Describe a moment in from parts 1, 2, or 3 of this movie that you found particularly memorable? Why

well the part in the 2nd video, like in the end where the lady was dying, that was memorable, because they ade someone cry, and they can use that against forever 21

By the end of part 3, the protestors seem to be giving up hope. If you were able to speak to the group, what would you say to them to inspire them to keep going?

i would tell them to 'continue with the protest but doesnt the feeling of knowing your fighting for what you believe in and you still have a chance at winning mean anything???'

Who does Forever 21 blame for the sweatshops? Why?

they dont blame anyone thy say that they didnt know about the garments, like who makes them or about the factories. they blame the people who they pay to hire the people who make the clothes.

What’s wrong with Forever 21′s argument?

well i dont really think there is anything wrong with it cuz they are sort of right.

Why do the workers continue to protest even if it means they might lose their jobs?

because they are fighting for what they believe in. yeah they're scared but they kno that they are doing the right thing.

the lives are the same because the don't even get paid minimum wage, and their life isn't good, they have to do things differently, but in a way, they're lives are still the same
they're lives are different because, they, do things differently, get paid a little more than the people in indonesia, but the people in indonesia are the ones that get treated worse.

the dont work they'e because they cant, they need experience, they need skill, the people wont accept them, and the newcomers
dont even fight for their rights, so thats what makes it even worse for them.

i think by the end of the movie, someone would maybe be fed up enough to make a difference

pain
and
its all cuz of
NIKE

i dont get why
not wanting to kow why

i just wanna kno who
no person in their right mind would
do that
especially you
now, tell me, why?
especially cuz of the pain
some dont like it
i dot want them to have it
all im asking, is...

for you to think about it. tell me why, who, and when did this all start happening?
i wanna find out who did this. and i AM starting with you.

How much do Nike workers make in Indonesia each day? How many hours a day do they work?
they make 1.25 a day, and they have to work for 12 hours just to get by.

What is life like for Indonesian Nike workers at home?
horrible. just dreadful, the toilets, the beds, everything. makes me wanna cry.

Why won’t Nike talk to Jim or Leslie or let them visit the shoe factory?
because they know that jim and leslie are against them, everything they are doing, and they dont want jim & leslie to bring nike down.
